@martifix so I literally just got done fixing my payment issue what I did was that I added like $10 on Apple Cash and added it as a payment method then I removed my card from the bank as an option and readded it back and removed the Apple Cash and that fixed everything :D

It’s because card duplicating is getting easier and easier to do. Tons of fraud going on. Your bank will block your card for suspicious activity. You have to get a new card. Avoid swiping your card when possible it’s always best to use the chip. It’s mostly gas stations. These thief’s have these card sliders that attach over the gas pumps that look completely real it’s how they make a fake card with your information

Thank you. I will work on bringing an update to this episode. One of my audience had similar issue and he had to get a new VISA Card from his bank to make it work. mostly the card which already added or didnt have international transactions enabled from the bank side causing such problems. quite tough to narrow down where the issue is remotely. Best way is to try different card or if we have one bank account, then applying for new Visa card helped as far as I know.

hi akshay, as i mentioned, as per RBI regulations here in India, they implemented a system to automatically disable any international transactions without user knowledge to fight those online scams and card thefts. it works and saves people from unknown surprise debits on their credit cards. i hope it helped.

Guys all you have to do is contact apple and I contacted them and they said I tried to complete purchases when there was no money on my card so add a card that had never been added on your phone and apple will tell you how much to pay them in order to download free apps.. Hope this helps!

Guys the issue here is that you probably bought something online that was sponsored and it’s charging you. It’s best to pay that and once that’s done you are done. Be careful for what you buy online and if it says “sponsored” or something more then don’t buy it. Mine is going slowly so it’s best to wait or contact your bank supporter so you can pay it off.

Hi Sahan, If the card is allowed to make international transactions then it must be related to your account. unfortunately calling apple toll free right now is not a feasible option. Friend of mine had similar issue with maestro card. He had to try with Visa Card to make it work. So if you have any other cards it will be good to try.

For some users, their international usage is blocked temporarily for security reasons. In country like India, the Reserver Bank have ordered to disable International Payment service for all debit and credit card customers to prevent misuse by making the user to activate that feature manually if required. So that users who don't need that or use it, will not see any unauthorised transactions.

I did everything in the books. I tried deleting the other card and adding another one and it still didn’t work they both were declined. I tried contacting apple support and they tried to scam me by having me download an app which would allow them to see everything on my phone including my bank information. I did click “media and purchases” and it showed what was declined but it shows on my banking app that it went through but under “media and purchases” it says it’s pending when it clearly charged me.

if you are here because you can’t use ur apple id balance/funds, here’s the solution: i found a solution!! I had the same problem, not being able to use my apple id balance. All i did was contact a apple advisory through chat. It took less than 3 minutes for my problem to be solved. I was asked for the apple id i’m using, if I was the owner of it, and that’s all. then a few seconds later, the advisor told me to try and make a purchase and it worked! i didn’t expect it to work but it did. here’s the link to chat to an apple advisor: getsupport.apple.com/ (just select ur device, look for the topic “update payment method”, then choose chat. i hope this helped)
