I tried absolutely everything. Nothing worked from any advice I found on Google or here on KZbin. The hero for me was my sister-in-law. She said: "What about a Firewall blocking your connection"? Boom, Windows defender firewalls were on for public and private networks. Fixed! UPDATE! That did not work as it disconnected again. Had a computer guy here for 2 hours, had him totally baffled as well. He left without fixing after trying virtually every suggested solution known to man. Then he found someone having the same issue with that network card. Bring the laptop right next to the router and try it. THAT WORKED! It connected right away. This makes no sense as it would at least try to authenticate to neighboring wifi signals. With the one in our house one room away it wouldn't even get that far in the process. Just "cannot connect to this network" message. Hope this helps someone else with an HP Z-book, windows 11.

By surfing through too many videos and wasting 4-5 hrs of time I found nothing but in the end I searched hp assistant in Google by connecting another device and I downloaded newest version of wifi driver and it finally worked. Hence finally now I can connect my own mobile with my laptop ;)

thank you, method one worked for me. I tried a lot of other stuff network reset, driver enable and disable, nothing work. Even thought of going back to the shop to get it fixed. All i can say is try many different steps in many videos. U might not never know which one might just click

Thanks a lot. You have saved my life. I have installed windows 11 on an external drive and used it on mac and the problem it cant connect to mobile hotspot and 2.4ghz wireless network. It can only connect to 5ghz wireless network. I have used a Huawei Modem with 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequency band. I have search online but cant find one until i have found this video and the first method had worked for me. Once again thanks😍❤❤.

i was strugling with this problem, and i found a solution, go to network settings > Wifi > Manage Known Network > Select the network you cant connect to > Advanced Wifi network Setting > Checklist the connect automatically when this network in range + connect even if the network is not broadcasting it's name box. This one works for me, i hope it works for someone with the same problem as me
