I did exactly the same steps and still not recognizing the newly created partition. Everything seems to be there but the legacy boot doesn't recognize the boot partition/volume. What can it be?

When i type shrink desired=300 It brings an error "Virtual Disk Service error: The volume you have selected to shrink May be corrupted. Use chkdsk to fix the corruption problem, and then try to shrink the volume again."

This actually worked for me. Thank you!! Saved me after a day of banging my head against the wall. I guess now I have to leave the 300mb partition? Or is it safe to delete it? I'm afraid to touch it after what I've been through this week.

@@asatechnicali entered everything as you showed but when I rebooted my windows c drive became raw. I had successfully created generic bcd boot files and partition. Somehow this is not working. Anyways I ran chkdsk to fix disk and it made my c drive available again but this is now getting hectic. Nothing I tried seems to be working so I am cloning my hard to another drive but now that process is stuck too it seems. It seems it’s not even getting copied to another hard drive

But i have a question in the diskpart after selecting the disk 0, can we list the partition and yes the efi files may be corrupted but i think partition may still exist, then delete the partition, create partition efi, format the partition in fat32 file system and assign letter and then exit diskpart and then boot loading command. Is it possible?

I followed everything ans it was all working right, exactly like how it is in the video, but when I exited out of the Command promopt the "Continue" button didnt show up. It still just said "troubleshoot" and "Turn off computer" 😭
