Fix Your AC Fins For Better Cooling Power

I noticed the AC unit looked pretty terrible and then noticed that the fins were all bent up. So I started to work on it and one thing led to another. Here's a video of some different ways I found to straighten them.

My 6’ cedar privacy fence a few feet from my ac unit and has created “a wall” next to it, do you think that could be hurting air flow for cooling it down?

I've learned that 12 to 24 inches is the normal recommended space around a unit. As long as you have over 2 feet i wouldn't worry.
