Try this: Go to CMD and type reagentc /info and see if your Windows RE status is disabled. If disabled try this. Type reagentc /enable and try checking again: reagentc /info. then try again you will now be able to use the Advance options.

@RtcTutorials done that. In the end, i decided to call for a technician. It occurred 3 hours after changing my ssd and Windows automatic update on the recently reformatted pc (forgot the password last November, though i kept a separate computer 4 my autocad)
