@@ThinkFrugal I have MXQ Pro 5g 4k android. It came with Android11.1 4gb 32gb which I am sure are fake specifications. It was extremely slow and the internal storage setting was greyed meaning that you could not open to explore it. Upon opening the case, I found out that it has an MXQPRO_V73 2021-06-19 board and an RK3128H processor under the heat sink. However, the CPUX app showed it has rk3066 and the recovery menu indicates it comes with RK322X. I can only connect it to the computer in maskrom mode and most of the RK3229 firmwares( loader v2.37) flash successfully but won't boot( including the one that you have provided in the link above).Do you have a solution for this problem?Thank you.

Hi. APK files are for the installation of apps. It will not change the android version. Flashing IMG File to your Android Box will change your android's firmware, but not necessarily your android version.

You have to search for specific OS for your device, otherwise there is a great chance that you may brick your device. I would recommend to open your device, and you will see a model number printed on the android box PCB. Use that exact model number to search for a compatible rom.
