Fix Your SN95 Mustang Speedometer & Odometer With This Easy Solution

I'm going to try this. I have a '95 Cobra that sits most of the time. This issue just started today. About 5 years ago, I replaced the worm gear in the cluster, so I'm sure it's ok. At 10 MPH and below, it works and the odo/trip turn. At about 10 MPH, it hops like you mention, then it goes back to 0. Thanks for this idea.

I have a 98 coupe, got it this week, and he previous owner said that the speedometer and odometer doesn't work. I'm just here reading what all your guys write and I'll try it.

Nice gated community bro. Thanks for the video. I pulled my ‘94 GT convertible out yesterday after storage for the winter. and guess what, I got on the road and no speedometer. It was fine when I parked it. I’ll try what you did and hopefully it’ll work for me thanks man.

I’m having a problem with my odometer as well, I thought it would be my gears but I replaced the gears which were in fact faulty but still didn’t correct my odometer but also because my speedometer doesn’t work so I will be checking my speed sensor, see if it’s shorting out

I have a 95 gt 5.0 If my speedometer isn't working, does the gears change randomly

I never had any issues with the gears changing. I was lucky to find such an easy fix. Still running great. Drive it almost everyday with the top down.. even in winter. People think i'm crazy (probably).

You might need some fuel

Yeah.. the fuel sending unit was bad. Had to replace that.
