I respectfully disagree. Like I said it's a balance. It's about health AND about how it looks. Isn't that why you color your hair? Because you like the way it looks? I'm not saying you're not partially right but looks matter especially with something like our hair.

I definitely do care what my locks look like! The look of my loc’s is one of my main concerns! Secondary is the time it takes to retighten my loc’s! I’m not having a problem with going bald. I definitely have a problem with the amount of time it takes to re-tighten 300 x 30” micro loc’s! after going to your channel and getting a better understanding of “knotted loc’s” I too, have decided to give the process of knotting my loc’s a try with outstanding results!🎉

It seems very common that the number one concern is the way the loc looks. I totally understand that. That is not my first concern however. So, I won't have much in common with those who place a high priority on this particular aspect of the hair journey. I look at health, ease, longevity, and then look.

Most of your locs are in a sisterlocks pattern though and you have very dense hair to begin with. Not everyone has your density so can’t really compare heads like that. Whenever people start comparing how their locs look they will always be disappointed

Tunisia you are assuming the only people interested in Knotted Locs are women with Sisterlocs who have hairloss. I have traditional locs and Im thinking of starting a new set but with smaller locs so thats why I care what Knotted Locs look like.

But she had interlocked long beautiful locs for 13 years! Ahw has spent a few years telling people how to take care of their hair, but hasn't shown us how it's done! When I see the knotted locs video, all you see is her speeding thru her video with her cell phone and you can't see nothing about what she doing. So yes alot of people are a bit bothered by Ms Ali now speaking a different tune, when a 1- 2 years ago her locs were still so beautiful! But looking at Ms. Yolanda's locs, they aren't thick and full, her locs are their thin. So really don't get this! Ms. Ali speaks so against reties for the last few months 🤷🏾‍♀️

Good question. I know the technique it doesn’t take a genius to figure this out. The funny thing about this technique is there’s nothing to it but they want you to think it is and we go to them so that they can show you and make the money that they’re saying you are wasting on consultants, but they are actually doing the same thing. Why is it so secretive? And please.@Tunisia don’t say that you are showing people because you’re not you are making people come to you so you can make the money. You are a businesswoman at the end of the day I get it you own the school Stone Mountain, etc. etc.. why not someone else’s technique if it’s something that you haven’t been using for years which is why your hair looks as good as it do at least 6 to 9 inches from the bottom. It’s like tearing down someone who has created a beautiful thing and now we’re trying to make it our own. I’ve done the locks on a few clients and it definitely isn’t a bad idea, but it isn’t for every everyone’s hair texture either so make sure you educate and explain that.
