Good question. I believe it was only a bad VIA, but I did not test the old SCSI chip.

Though you got the SE to talk on Apple Talk network, that is only on the printer port only. You did not check the modem port. However great work on bringing an SE from the grave.

It was self-drying. I have UV solder mask now. I'm sure it will make a future appearance.
