FIXED Check Engine Issue On My 2021 Honda CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade SP!

We replaced the stock exhaust system with an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust and it created a 'check engine light' issue. Zack the Master Mechanic installed a device from Motomillion that eliminated the CEL. He also installed a light smoked taller windscreen from WRS onto our 2021 Honda CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade SP and it looks amazing!

@@650ib dude check out Chris Moore at Moore Mafia down here in Greer SC once the computer on those bikes get cracked. He's got the quickest and fastest pro street bike no wheelie bar bike in the world. He has an extremely nice dyno setup, does great tuning and he has killer content

Just watched Moore Mafia install of Akrapovic pipe on 2019 CBR 1000RR SP and the bike made less power than on the stock setup because of an extremely lean fuel condition. Chris Moore said knock sensors in the ECU were activating a power pullback because of this condition to avoid engine damage. He then flashed the ECU and gained 20 hp over stock.

Chris Moore had a new CBR1000 SP1 on the dyno new Akrapovic exhaust and I'm not sure i would ride that bike on the street without a tune. It was very lean. I saw it in the 18's idling and under power 14, when it should be closer to 13 to 12-1 fuel ratio. He tuned that one and it improved the fuel air ratio dramatically

Hey dont forget to use obd2 device with extention and clear the previous code before the servo, I heared previous codes can also cause power issue (even after you fix the issue) so do clear FI or DTC just incase

650Ib, you have to delete and tune the cummins, so it doesn’t leave you stranded, plus lots more power, lots more amazing sounds, vallet mode, high idle for cold starts.

Hey guys! Sounds like you have some confusion around why you can't go full throttle - you've completely changed the flow rate of the exhaust without tuning it accordingly on a bike that already is lean from the factory. It's starving for fuel and you're doing more damage than good by putting the exhaust on without being able to tune it. Look for burnt up spark plugs and a generally unhappy engine until its tuned. Hope this helps!

You're right but a little extreme. 4 strokes can run extremely lean without damage and Honda would never release a grenade on the public, but you're right that correctly tuning the A/F ratio will make a world of difference.

@@650ib inquire with Paul Kingsburgh on the ecu coding.......guy is amazing with the Hondas. That 20 hp gain is standard once you unlock the sc77's ecu to euro spec. However Paul can provide HRC MAPPING as well unlock it (race kit) on the sp1 & 2 platforms. Maybe he can on the new RRR
