That moment when you finish building your bike and you realice that it will never be as clean as it is at that moment.

It should never be as clean and that’s a good thing. Good and expensive bikes deserve to be ridden. It would be a shame if it was just a wall piece

Always worth spending a bit extra on high quality tools. It makes it less likely you will strip something and the tools will pay for themselves with how much less you have to spend at a bike shop for basic maintenance

5:32 That chain looks too short. How you gonna get the back wheel off when your tire needs maint.? Remove the complicated master link? 7:23 This is a better angle, but it still looks short to me.
@aurels.6822 жыл бұрын
Definitely too short. Too much chain tension as well.
@sonymicronin Жыл бұрын
Trust me , using a chain breaker to take a chain off and put it back together takes less than a minute. Slamming the rear wheel and a short chain is not a big deal, just make sure you have good tension and it’s not too tight. Other wise it’s no big deal

I heard engine frames are just fancy Chinese repaints of the crew frames, it was an old debate but I’m wondering if that’s true because so many people are using it and seems to put it in high regards
@theodoreguntoro2 жыл бұрын
What makes you believe it? Engine11 frames are made with either double-butted 6061, triple-butted 6069, or triple-butted 7005, while the Crew District has a different fork to all of them and comes in plain 6061. The Crew Ace and Defender don't match any of the Engine11 frames as well

Naaah … don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice bike BUT: - Glossy black frame and matte black cranks? - The frame geometry seems a bit »off« (tire clearance to the frame front vs. back, angle of seat tube and fork) … - only chrome finish are the hubs? - The stem looks ugly on this bike … It seems more than a spontaneous mixture of expensive parts to me … Cheers (love your vids btw.) …
