Fixed Gear - Guillermo & Marcos (DTLA)

Before I moved away from Los Angeles, I met up with Guillermo & Marcos in DTLA for a day on the town. It's been amazing to see these two progress. You can tell that they both motivate and feed off of each other. You'll always get to those checkpoints quicker when you have someone there to push you along the way.

I create custom color corrections every time. Generally it's the same broad moves.

Flatten highlights, boost shadows, desaturate blues, pull down the red & green curves channels to add blues to the shadows. Make blues more teal, add saturation to yellows while desaturating oranges. Flatten shadows.

I would like to get my first fixed gear bike I would like to know If I get pedal straps would that be good enough for me to stop the bike when I want to ?

Yeah, definitely get straps. It'll help you control the bike a lot better. The stiffer the strap, the easier it will be to get out of them as well. I really love the straps YNOT makes and have been only riding those for the last 8-9 years.
