I just had surgery a week ago; plates and screws in my left radius bone, forearm. Injured myself riding my bike. Doctors say I can't ride for another few months. But it's ok... there's other ways to live life. We'll be back riding in no time. Cheers, to a speedy recovery to both of us!!

For sure, you'll find ways to fill the time. It's a good opportunity to pick up a hobby or learn something new. I started drawing a lot more once I got hurt.

I had to have some special hardware that anchored itself in my joint. I had to have it removed because it limited my range of motion.

Im actually on my 5th month of broken clavicle recovery I had the tony romo break which takes longer to heal. I broke it when I was sent flying on my fixed gear bike had my arm streched out.luckily I didnt need surgery. The first month is worst every thing is uncomfortable and I couldnt use my arm.

I broke my clavicle and pinky finger when a car driver decided to turn in front of me. I ended up going clear over her hood from right fender to left fender. There was so much road rash on my back that it hurt more than the broken clavicle. I wasn't cleared by the docs to pull/push until 5 months later. I will always have the titanium rod in my clavicle. Also, where did you move to after Portland? I just moved to Salem, OR. Not as cool as PDX but much better than 100 degree weather in my home state.

I shoot with a Sony A7III, I use the standard color profile and create my own Lumetri Color adjustments in Premiere. I only shoot using the "daylight" wb when shooting outside.

Motor Vehicle Accidents suck. The insurance pushes it off for 2 years and then when you reach an agreement they don't pay lawyer fees which they would be obliged if it went to court.. I recommend reaching an agreement and adding that as stipulation at ends if others encounter similar experiences..
