FIXED GEAR in Paris 🇫🇷

Jackson explores Paris, France on his brakeless fixed gear bike. Paris is a very exciting place to ride a fixie. The car traffic is very condensed and generally slow, making travel by bike feel pretty swift. It's also relatively flat, making it nice for wheelies and easy to sprint throughout the city. Not to mention all of the natural features and spots for doing fixed gear tricks.

Impressive ! I messengered NYC in 1980 on fixed but a front brake. But like when you hit that chaos in the morning rush hour, it is a brain speed up that is not to find in any other endeavour. Great ride! I have been in Paris many times. I would never do what you are doing. New York is easier. What bike and set up are you on here? you put it through some punishment.

Thank you Bob! Don't sell yourself short, riding in New York is intense. I'm sure even more so in 80's when bicycle driver education probably wasn't as well known. The bike here is a Mash SF Slumworm custom build.

Only thing missing is an insane arc de triomphe passage through the lanes and get honked to death. jokes aside, love the Frame and protaper bar and got impressed to how easy you make it look to ride with it through traffic, that shit is wiiiiiiide.
