For the umpteenth time, BUY A REGULAR ARMOURED ROAD TIRE. Those racing and high performance tyres are made with minimal armouring and very thin to reduce rolling resistance. What performance do you need for a work bicycle???

@@rbrk161 I ride a cheap £20/ tire set and despite being as heavy as 100 kgs/ 220 lbs back then with my body weight and luggage, I NEVER suffered a single puncture or slipped despite riding on slick tires on icy roads. Even while rolling over glass shards and sharp stones and gravel, I never suffered a puncture despite high tire pressures. He’ll have to spend hundreds of dollars annually till he learns.

@@kiuk_kiks on my messenger bike i use conti 4 seasons. That's the best compromise. a front tire last's me 2-3 years, a backtire 1. I'd rather spend the 25 extra bucks over gatorskins and have the grip confidence I need to perform. Especially in winter or wet conditions. The main exception to this rule is probably the schwalbe marathon although I still onlylike to use it on cargo bikes.

Carbon frames are not designed to be willie-ing every 3 minutes. U should just find a solid steel frame and see how that works over the long ride.

The one downside to the Carbon frames.The streets here in Portland are Gnarly so a steel frame is usually essential but riding Carbon feels like you're on a feather.Thanx for the Videos ,shout out from another Courier here in Portland.
