The whole point of this is a bunch of want to be Maverick, douchebags ride around doing as they please, becoming everyone else’s problem. Breaking the rules is what makes them super cool and totally awesome. Traffic laws are for riders with breaks and gears..... you know....pussies right? If you want to be super cool, take off your breaks and make everyone else have to react to you. I ride a fixed gear bike, but I won’t ride with a group because all the other fixed gear riders are hipster douchebags. The kind of people you would never hang out with

(Never been to LA) I ride fixed in Atlanta and the way people drive out here, its best if every now and then you ride breaking traffic rules just for your safety. However, I do know some guys who purposely cross traffic just to f**k with cars and it is kind of crappy at times, but I guess it ultimately boils down to the rider. I know in New York as well its best if you ride breaking traffic because traffic is terrible and riding "safe" could still get you hit. 50/50.
