I do a lot of other things in the shop besides making projects. I fix and repair things around the house too. I figured I'd share a few of them with you. This LED Worklight just doesn't hold a charge anymore. Lets take it apart and see if we can get it working again. I plan to do more videos like this, if you guys enjoy them. Please leave your feedback in the comments.

Thanks for doing this video. We bought one of these at a yard sale for $5. Used it for a coupe of years and it wouldn't hold a charge longer than 5 mins. We went to our local hardware store with the replacement battery pack and they sourced one for us for $11 + tax. ANd it's of much better quality than the original one, and as you said higher capacity. We LOVE this light

My Craftsman worklight was getting more difficult to charge and finally stopped accepting a charge. I watched your video & thought the battery pack may be the culprit. I took mine apart and saw one of the leads from the charge port was not attached. A little solder and electric tape and my light is charging again. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for posting this video. I bought this light brand new from Sears many years ago. I misplaced the power cord. I have been meaning to google the light for years. I finally did it today and found your video. I am going to look for the power cord. If I can't find it I'll purchase it from eBay. Hopefully the batteries are still good. I used it only a hand full of times. I hated to get rid of it or throw it out. Especially when it worked great the times that I did use it.

Thanks. Inherited this from my brother-in-law. Dead, of course. With no charger, of course. Then I moved, so it took me a while to find my box of assorted "wall wart" chargers. Had to try a couple @ different voltages and milliamperages to find one that worked out of the box. Unsurprisingly, once I got it charged, the batteries were pretty well shot. Now I know how to get to them and replace them. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I've inherited one of these however it's without either charger, 12volt or mains. Have you any idea what the input voltage to the charging circuit is? I'm going to try to find a suitable "plug pack". The plug is not a problem, but the required voltage has me foxed. I'm assuming it's more than the 3.6 volt capacity of the batteries.
