Thanks for the info! I had this happen a few brew days ago and I did your reverse spin technique. I haven’t broke down my grain mill ever and I have to do that soon! Cheers!🍻

Great video! I’ve had that mill for 15 years and it’s been giving me a hard time lately. Never thought to break it down. Thank goodness I mill a day prior- it’s really annoying to deal with a full mill that won’t grind on a brew day

Absolutely! Mine has definitely been through some work.. needed it. 🍺

Perfect timing!!! I had this issue on the last brewday. I accidentally ran my drill in reverse for a second and that fixed it. I’m brewing again tomorrow so I’ll give my mill these other treatments tonight. Thanks a ton!!!👍🏻🍻

Awesome! Glad to help. Frustrating when you're in the middle of a brew day for sure!

A good reminder for me to clean mine since I am brewing this weekend. Friendly reminder to charge up the drill battery too! Last batch mine died just before the last rotation!

Yeah, you never know when they're going to start gumming up on you! 💯🍻

So glad I have the JSP Maltmill, the rollers are twice the length, much more surface area to grab the grain.

Yep that helps for sure.

All I do is, after EVERY mill, blow out the rollers using a can of compressed air. It gets every nook & cranny. Less than 2 minutes no disassembly needed.

That's definitely good for maintenance So you don't have to do it as often. I actually use my leaf blower to blow out the entire thing after every use. And it still gets between the rollers on the sides. After a few years and hundreds of pounds of grain. Good advise with the compressed air can trick! 🍻
