Its called screen burn, and its a common g4 problem. If ur still using the device then install bluelight filter app and keep it at 15-20%.

Hi! I am having same problem I suddenly drom my phone in water just for 2 secs after I switched it off dried it completely then switched on, display was working but after sometime display suddenly got blanked / black. I can here it's " hello moto" power on voices or vibrations when I touch the fingerprint sensor,but can't see anything display is still blanked. I went to two mobile repair shops both said can't fix the problem. One of the shop said its display is good (working) but this is ic problem which was shorten, currently not able to find out a single ic in the whole market. So I am stucked here. If you tell me what did you did with your moto g4 plus it might help me. So please sir reply me as fast as u can! Thank you..! 😃😃

Depending on the extent of the water damage I could possibly be just your display. However if you aren’t familiar with repairing small surface mount components it’s usually a job best left to a qualified repair shop.

Hi! The black piece of tape on the short edge of the battery can be used to lift the battery up. Just peel the tape up from the backside of the battery, and use it to pull the battery apart from the frame. Just pull firmly and give the adhesives some time to get loose.

do you do you have any solution for the screen overlay issue in the Moto G4 plus I recently submitted my moto G4 plus to the main service centre for getting the service done they said they are replacing my motherboard and my screen and and I even had argument with the Motorola helpline regarding this issue I told them that if I face the same problem off screen overlay after my warranty period shall I pay for my motherboard If in case you have to replace my motherboard they said yes so what's the point if Motorola isn't strong enough I chose Motorola because it was at least better and ever since they have gone in the hands of Lenovo they have become pathetic devices this no quality control I had a choice between Lenovo and Motorola and xiaomi all the Wars are over me and Lenovo is almost the same price range Motorola was still expensive I went for Motorola because I felt that the quality was very good very good but I will just made me upset and the help line guys pretended don't understand what I am talking to Ivan do I explain the main problem they don't they pretend not to understand so that's very irritating please help me dude if you know anyone higher authority of Motorola please convey this message to them thank you..
