Hi, this video shows the XT1622 model being sucessfully used and I have the XT1625 model, has this product been tested for software compatibility on the later model of the motorola moto g4?

I have the same question. Let me know please if you tried this with the XT1625 model, when I ordered the SKU from them was 2-MO-3048. I have not performed the repair yet. By the way, I have found that the XT1625 is not held together by the T4 torx fasteners like this video shows.

My Moto G4 also has a problem. All of the sudden the screen started to display static white noise, and that's all it will display. The touchscreen, and all other components function properly, but the screen will no display anything different. I've looked at the connection from the ribbon cable to the board, and everything is as it should be, no water damage, and fully plugged in. Do I have to replace my screen?

Hello Fixez.com , my Moto G4 plus screen is cracked at a corner and there are several cracks across the screen. But the display and touch are working fine. Do I have to replace the whole unit? Or is there a way to replace the screen glass seperately. Please help me find a solution. Thanks in advance

Glass only replacement requires specialized machinery and is beyond the scope of our videos.

Hello, I saw on other videos that a Torx T3 Screwdriver is needed to disassemble this phone. Are you really sure a T4 is required ? Thanks ! Nice video btw.

Boris LONJON I UNFORTUNATELY bought a t4 and it doesn't fit! I would strongly recommend testing first and then buying.

I followed your instructions, bought the new frame from you. Nowhere does it say anything about the buttons on the side, which you never remove, never replace. Now I have a re-assembled phone with no buttons! What the heck?!!!!

if your screen is cracked do you need more than just a replacement screen?

+Steven Flores If the display is cracked and the phone is still showing signs of life i.e. (its recognized when plugged into a computer, notification sounds, vibrates) usually a new display will solve your issue.

Hello, my Moto G4 has a problem , there is a little part of the screen that the touch doesnt work, the rest of the screen works fine (in that part that touch doesnt work it still displays everything i just cant click or do anything in that part of the phone) is located exactly where the letters K and i are in the google keyboard. Will this fix it?

Ah man, I have the same problem. I tested the new screen before reassembling it and it worded fine. As soon as I reassembled it wont tern on and also gets hot? Has anyone managed to solve this one?

hola amigo, mi moto g4 presenta la siguiente falla, la pantalla enciende normal pero tengo que colocarle una linterna para ver las aplicaciones, ya que no se ilumina sola la pantalla. deberia cambiar la pantalla completa? el tactil funciona y todo lo demas del telefono tambien, solo que no ilumina, no tiene brillo. alguien que recomiende que deberia hacer?
