Jama Brown interesting point. I used to think of it rather as a simple logic, but everyone is different, nobody’s perfect. I have/“had” 2 barbers i frequent. First one can’t blend under their own notion, and the other doesn’t take initiative and left me looking stupid (area untrimmed) where the first barber just cut a couple lingering chunks off...but just as much my fault for letting those spot go that far. With either, i will take innto my own vision to scissor in missed areas; overlooked angles. Communication and use of correct barber terminology is very key..or you’ll get jacked by certain barbers who take any objection the wrong way especially old school barbers.

The thing is it makes Carlos look like a complete dick. I started watching these videos and this is the first time I've seen Carlos, if Mahesh didn't do such a super job I would have stopped midway through because of the egotistic rude attitude.

I just watched the video of the guy who cut Carlos' hair right before this. Carlos negated to mention his head looked like an 80's Sun-In and peroxide clusterfick before the previous stylist went in to trim out as much of the bleach as he could. In my free opinion, it looked as good as humanly possibly without cutting it skin tight, or coloring it. It was a near mullet mess, what the previous guy started with. Look up video of "Barber cuts off biggest mistake." I'm only 2 minutes into this video and I kinda hope Carlos' important plans fell through that weekend.

man, this guy carlos is a d-bag! i used to have clients like him who were so full of themselves and trying to be cool, experts on everything, picky on everything and almost trying to psych you out on giving them a good haircut lol. funny thing is these kind of guys would always come back b/c i gave them a badass haircut lol, even though it felt like you were drowning by dealing w/ them. it's really when i realized why down-to-earth people are so much better.

Match both sides to create an even cut. Disconnect the cut from front till about just behind the temporal bone. Blend the back in using the existing length and boom you have a disconnect with a blended back which is even and will grow out better than one lopsided side
