Fixing a Dead RGH Due to Corrupted Nand Flash

Awesome stuff, I normally write over the last good dump I have on hand to unbrick a console, I haven't done the ECC only method. Got any more details on the NAND reading/writing switch you briefly showed? I know that isn't for a Demon setup but I'm not sure if that's from a Cygnos set or not.

Yeah that chip I showed was from a Cygnos. My Trinity console has one.

@@gringbel Not much you can do in that case unless you have the original retail nand dumps from the console. Most RGH sellers provide them on a disc or as a download.

Thank you very much for the video! I got an Xbox 360 E with the error E79, it had a mod chip, the previous owner said it failed after an update. Your video helped me to get confidence that I was on the right track with my fix, I bought a JR Programmer and got J-Runner to run on an old Windows7 laptop and I read the NAND successfully and wrote back Xell which printed the CPUkey and the DVDkey on the TV, I used the CPUkey to create an XeBuild and I successfully wrote that into the NAND and now my Xbox 360 E works again! J-Runner's latest version looks a bit different now than when you made this video but it helped me get around still. Thanks again!

How did you get the backup band from the console ? I thought the backup band had to be stored somewhere else since the band was already flashed

The modder could have stashed a copy on the internal storage of the console itself.

I have a 16mb corona, tried rgh-ing the console, one of the wires disconnected during the glitch process i think. Console red ringed, fixed it so its not red but green with no display. Now i get no power. Cant use power button, not working for some reason. Dont have a controller.

Hello! If I don't know the CPU key of my console (because I never managed to run XELL) but I know the LDV, can I use a donor with the donor's CPU key, or do I need to know my own CPU key? Also, should the creation be set to Glitch2 - SMC+ or Glitch2 - RGH3?

I installed a matrix v3 chip onto my trinity and once I connect the power the chip turns red but when I turn it on with the eject button nothing shows up on my screen anyway to fix this as I have no idea what to do and nobody seems to have any videos out there to figure this out.

How about fixing a dead slim with a corrupted emmc? I bought a couple in a lot and one in particular is giving me hell. It originally didn't power on because the previous owner was a jackass and ripped several pads. Specifically Pad 1, Pad 2 and Pad 3. I used some magnet wire to restore all these points. Which is how I managed to see that it has an E79 error. However, I'm unable to use my Nand reader to try to fix the corrupted install because Jrunner freezes when I try to identify the console. It detects it as a 4GB EMMC but freezes after and times out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could possibly fix this Xbox? I don't wanna give up on this Corona V2 just yet.

Will this work if did a botched update, I updated via a tutorial online a few months back after not using it for months and sometimes it boots to a blank background screen and usually will give me errors. They would pop up like the bubbles when someone logs in. Its been awhile so i dont know exactly the errors but just wondering if this will fix that issue. Xbox elite jasper wih a rgb glitch chip.

I really need your help, i have been following all your tutorials before this one and everything works fine and i have xbl online stealth server setup and everything. But when i drag and drop my downloaded RGH games from my pc to hdd1 and then my inside my folder "games" on the xbox, using Xbox 360 SDK. Then i thought it would show up on the aurora dashboard after a restart of the console but it's not. I can use the file manager in Aurora to start the games XEX files and play it from there but i don't have any games on the dashboard! Expect from xell launcher and dash launcher. How should i do to make the games to show up in the dashboard? I really need your help. Thx!!

The yellow point is a pain in the arse. It the ground point so it will need a really got iron to melt that point. It always plays up when I do this.

The yellow wire is actually the ground and with a massive motherboard like this it has a massive ground plain so your heat gets sucked away fast with massive ground points

KGamingHD probably bad connection. look into the top of your vents and see if your chip is blinking

Put a empty launch.ini on a USB then boot up Xbox. It's your plugins. If it's just a black screen try turning it off and on and mess with the HDMI cable.

Depends. Is it a Jtag or RGH? If it's an RGH look through the vents and see if you see the green flashing LED when you first turn it on. Then every 3 or so seconds it should blink again as it's trying to boot.

My rgh is band right. And i recently put one of my xbox accounts on the hdd that i knew had gta v. Obviously i couldnt install gta v to the hdd cause im banned, so i did so on another console, then transferred the hdd back to my rgh. When i go to launch gta it tells me an error in the playstore, "Can't launch Grand Theift Auto V -xbox stores" Ive baught this game, its not torrented. Why cant i play it?. Is it because im banned? Hola, gracias por compartir tu conocimiento, tengo una Xbox 360 Slim placa trinity, la compre de segunda mano, ya tenía lt3.0, lamentablemente en dónde vivo no encuentras dvd de doble capa para quemar discos, así que me animé a instalar RGH, al leer la Nand, me daba errores no lo reconocía y salía un anuncio de que sobre los sectores, creo son de 16 regularmente, la mía decía que era de 10....a mucha insistencia leyó la Nand original pero con errores...tampoco quiso flashar el xenon o el xell, porque estaba corrupta la Nand, así que decidí crear otra Nand y instalarla, corrió todo bien hasta que necesite el dvd Key, el número de serie para parchar la Nand....al final decidí proseguir sin introducir el dvd Key y el número de serie, el RGH funciona bien, pero el lector no lee absolutamente nada....nose si podrías orientarme para poder rehabilitar el lector. Hi, Something very strange has happened to me, I did everything and very verbose, it gave me the xell perfectly and after flashing the nand, the console did not turn on anymore and neither does it allow me to flash the nand. I throw flash config: 0xFFFFFFFF. Wrong nand or something like that. Any idea how to fix it?
