Fixing a dewalt laser level. Power not turning on.

I just wanted to put this out there although it's unrelated to this video. I was unable to come across a fix when I was looking. On my DW088 the vertical laser wouldn't turn on and it ended up being a broken wire to the laser IC board. Something to check if only one beam is working.

Mam ten sam problem z DW088. Lasery pionowe i poziome nie działają. Więc nagle przestał działać. Nie wiem jak to naprawić. Baterie nie przeciekają, są sprawne. Wszystko jest OK, ale laser nie działa. Pomoże ktoś?

Same problem I've just fixed on a DCE089G on it's Horizontal axis. Small enamel wire was broken, but was able to rethread a new one through the gimbal and resolder.

Appreciated much for the sharing. Face the same problem with horizontal not function after 1.5yrs.

My vertical line doesn't turn off. Don't know why
