I have replaced many of these..... For future reference you don't have to pull out the horn. Take off the handle and reach inside and unscrew it, it saves a bunch of time!

Son muy buenas bocinas se escuchan muy bonito, tengo las prx812w que uso de monitores y soy feliz, pero prx no es una serie recomendada para bandas en vivo que abusan de frecuencias altas, para eso esta la serie srx, saludos

3 way speakers will almost always be better than their 2 way counterpart. extra woofers allow for each one of them to be more specialized in each of their frequency ranges.

Yo would you recommend just buying the diaphragm or an entire new tweeter

Buying the diaphragm is alot cheaper, but if you have any doubt in how to assemble I'd buy the tweeter.

I've had these speakers for 3 years and this was the first repair I did. I use these speakers alot in a night club.

Ive also had mine for 3 years I have 4 also mine are JBL 835w finally one tweeter went out not bad easy fix $25 part cant go wrong I also have 4 QSC KW-153 These speakers blow JBL Away my opinion. But I also love my Jbl's 835w. QSC had them for 8 yrs no issues at all!!!

There tweeters/HF aren’t the best, once you see difference in fbt 114a inside you be shocked

First of all the prx isn’t the top of the line from jbl dig into a jbl srx 835 much better
