Fixing a Kohler Recoil Starter Part 3 (K-141, K-161, K-181)

My pull starter rope broke, so I had to take it apart to fix it. Some parts were bad so I had to get another starter and make one good one from two bad ones.

Great series! I gave up on my retractable starter on my K301, because it was a big pain to take off my Gravely walk-behind, and purchased a NOS pulley with the wind up rope. It's a little more work, but very reliable and easy to work on! Thanks for sharing!
