A former co-worker's son came in one day to have work done on the car for inspection. It was a Focus ST and lowered on air. So the day his son brings the car, it fit on the lift just fine(just to note, the shop I worked at had in ground lifts). Co worker couldn't do inspection because of no registration. So next day co worker brings it in, and it wont fit on the lift. We're all scratching our heads because we couldn't figure it out, so we used a 2x4 to get the car over. After finishing the car. I saw the interior and the remote(for the air bags) and told said co worker to press the up arrow. Lo and behold car starts lifting up. Moral of the story, if you are working on a slammed vehicle on air, make sure you lift the air bags to higher than the lift pads and also air leaks out overnight I think, unless the POS had a leak. Anyway love the vid Charles as always. Also any plans for another meetup? I'd love to drive my R129 500sl(if allowed) to some car meet!

It’s one thing to throw away millions of dollars of R&D, it’s another to ruin nearly every single aspect of a vehicle while ignoring what damage your “mods” are doing to everything around it because you think people think it looks cool. On behalf of everyone using a highway thank you for setting this minecraft vapejuice tiktok influencer in a better direction before his giant snowball of mistakes loses a wheel and kills someone. You’re a good man HumbleMechanic👍🏼

Love stance cars, especially static ones. Shame the owner didn’t take care of it.

Can you explain why, when putting on the axle bearing, you would not use something like a tiny slathering of anti-seize to assist in installation?

You don’t want the inner part to move on the stub axle. You only want the bearing to spin

Does he have the blow off valve mounted before the turbo in the uncompressed air pipe just after the filter or am I not seeing where it's mounted correctly?

It's always painful when a car like this comes in the shop, you look up the repair order and you see "FREE MULTIPOINT INSPECTION." Oh yay, there goes 30 min of my life I will never get back.
