Will the BMS understand the Volts and Amps of the newer higher powered batteries?
@JustBarran Жыл бұрын
The bms doesn't need to understand the amps, it's designed for these types of l-ion batteries with similar normal/breakdown and charge voltage. The charge current and output current would be limited by the bms but this would be done automatically. And should already be with in spec, if not over spec due to it previously have a smaller capacity before

You cut the video on 14:07 , the batterie Led Test was negative not Led lightig WHY ? 🙂 You need to plug the batterie back to the Charger to reset the BMS and get output Voltage

I have 2 v mount batteries which I believe are dead due to not using them for over a year. Can yu help me revive the, please? Cheers
@JustBarran2 жыл бұрын
Hey, like these batteries are you getting any voltage at the output? Or non at all, the question is if the BMS is still good you can, woukd be just to change out the batteries, but the really trade offs is depending the batteries and bms if it make sense to fix or just buy new ones, in this case with these b mount batteries it seems better to fix

Where erm... Where is your bucket of dry sand that you need for safety when working with Primary LiPo Cells?

These are li-ion much more stable

U saw the yt video I sent u so hopefully none ever xplodes.
@JustBarran2 жыл бұрын
Tbh I never had a Lithium battery explode, also these are li-ion, much much more stable than li-po I wouldn’t do this with li-po. But the time to really be carefull is during charging, but these BMS are design to help that also
