I have a problem with my drone not taking off. i make sure my motors are spinning as your video says and put the props correctly. but i noticed something that you mention that the ESC are not important your ESC is set to normal why is it not set to Dshot300? as for the RC you mention is should be the opposite. on the RC should go up and Mission planner should go down. im starting to think my throttle could be the backwards. how can i test if my throttle is backwards without having to damage my drone is there any other way like in my parameters?

Same speakers started out with a slight buzzing sounds, when it was cold in winter time the buzzing would be worse if speakers were off and eventually fade when using them. After a few years the buzzing stopped but speakers started cutting out at 30-40% vol. Woke up one morning with power tripped and when i switched everything back on, the speakers were just dead.

The real solution is to replace two capacitors on that power supply on the power output side which go bad. I am currently dealing with this very issue and found a reddit thread of several people also with the same issue and one person finally realize it was just those two capacitors on it which is the same conclusion I came to when I noticed the bulging capacitors after a few hours of troubleshooting and pulling apart the volume pot to clean it and resoldering connections only for nothing to work. It's a lot easier and cheaper then just tossing the whole power supply and replacing it. I'm currently waiting for replacements I ordered which is a set of 5 so if I have this issue in the future I will have some spares on hand.
@JustBarran

I check the caps on mines and all were fine. I just reach a point where I weight the time taken to find and fix the bad components or spend just replace it with something I already had lying around. I went with the lather. Sorry that you reached the same place 🤣

Great stuff, really want to get my hands on the pixhawk 4, but trying to understand it as best as I can for my own project. If you don't mind two questions i got if you could help, if you know, am I right in saying the pixhawk supply's power to the GPS and receiver? (Not the USB or servo rail) Also when it comes to the servo rail, it says max input voltage is 36v. So am I right in saying I could potentially connect 3 12v car batteries up in parrell to make 36v...and then connect that directly to the servo rail with no problems?

@@JustBarran I should have clarified b4. It's the logitech z506 speakers. The distotion is coming from the bass box. I think that the speaker is blown but I don't know if it could be something else. I disconnected the speaker but got the same result. Don't know if it's another component that has malfunctioned.

@JustBarran
@JustBarran 11 ай бұрын
Nah, something else might be the issue. The sound on the one I deliever was clean. It could be noise from a bad power supply used, bad input connection or cable or bad sorce. I recommend try the input with another speaker and seeing if you hearing a similar sound. If not it could be one of the ampliers for damage from the original failure of the powersuppply

Hey Barran, I am new to Iot but i want to start off exploring but confused between Raspberry pi and arduino
@JustBarran
@JustBarran Жыл бұрын
Great question, microcontrollers (most arduinos) are more task specific and self contained normally offering lower speed as a trade off for cost via a pi which is a a microprocessor (a more a less full blown linx computer) with some add microcontroller features like gpios and other serial busses. If you want to do a project to control lights then a standard Arduino would be better but if you want to do a project that requires on board high processing like image recognition or a monitor with a gui then a pi would be better. In most cause both can be used to do what the other can but depending on the application their would be trade offs of cost, level of code and time to finish between each product. Hope that helps
@JustBarran
@JustBarran Жыл бұрын
Also arduinos mostly use C code vs Pi you would more likely use Python

I've been using a 30 gallon clear trash bag draped over the Neptune 4 Pro when printing ABS. The deluxe version has three 20" long strips of duct tape across the front where the bed contacts it at the end of the print when presenting the part for removal. 110C bed, 255C nozzle for the first layer and 230C nozzle for subsequent layers, printing on textured PEI. I'm running production. It's so reliable, I start a print and go to bed before the first layer starts to print.

That’s awesome 🙌🏽 surprise the trash bag doesn’t shrink with the heat but if it works it works
@Liberty4Ever
@Liberty4Ever Жыл бұрын
@@JustBarran - It works! The 110 C bed will shrink the plastic bag when it contacts the improvised bed slinger enclosure when the bed extends forward but the strip of duct tape in that contact area prevents tears and shrinkage. It works surprisingly well to be such a cheap and easy solution. I wish I could find a 30 gallon turkey roasting bag. 😀

On a preliminary test, I observed massive heat on the DB9 control cable and no output sound on the control speaker. This has to be a dhort- no?? Do you think that could be a short either on the output stage or the right speaker?
@JustBarran

Hmmm heat on the db9 seems weird, yet it definitely means something shorting but also that should be a low voltage circuit. I would check all the connectors because that is serious weird
