Man I’m loving seeing both your first rig and grandmas truck getting their well deserved love

Keep doing what you're doing. It's fun watching you work on the trucks you play and work with. I wouldn't mind more "How-to's" on some of the mechanical stuff. Others may show it on their channels but don't explain it well. Appreciate your time and knowledge!

Always put your clutch on transmission splines before install. Check that the clutch moves freely on the splines.

You are a wealth of knowledge because I have a 24 valve 3rd gen 05 and I've learned a lot from you about those trucks and I love the tractors also and who doesn't like the crispy wine crackling sound of a big bore chainsaw I'm here for it all

Since watching your channel all these years I've really enjoyed the variety of content (came for the original TP vs DC gooseneck comparison) and have also starting using Vevor products. At the end of the day do what you like and post it the real ones will still watch it. I know the truck was red when you got it but I think it'd be neat to return it to black in my opinion (and I'm a white truck and trailer guy) your paint skills on the sweptline prove a nice tuxedo black 2nd Gen would be very do-able. Just my .02 awesome you got your 1st truck back regardless and it's not destroyed!

Sam, the way that paints popping up and off on the red one it needs to go to bare metal. I lean towards etching primer then a hood primer surfacer. Some would go the epoxy primer route instead. It just depends on the paint system you use. I picked up those same little clutch and transmission tips as a kid years ago reading the car and 4wd mags. When my nephew gets older I’ll be teaching him and maybe my niece about cars. I hope my little brother is ready for the car nut I’m going to turn that kid into. Kids already getting my mustang I’ve had for almost 33 years, bought it a month before my brother was born.

I wonder if that’s the problem I’m having with my g56 didn’t have problems getting into gear until i put that delvac 50 oil in it made the trans quieter but it’s hard to get into gear sometimes it’s has a dual disk that’s noisy as can be sometimes when I’m in neutral idling i have to hit the clutch in a couple times to get the rattle to go away

Someone probably put a used door on it and then had the whole truck repainted. I think replacing just the one bedside is the way to go.

The factory track bars are junk garbage. A hiem joint adjustable track bar conversion is an absolute must! Thuren and sphon performance make a good kit. They get rid of that dumb tie rod end on the track bar. When a level kit has been added the track bar needs to be adjusted. And the stock OE track bar isn’t adjustable! An upgrade is a must! Hiem joints are stronger and more durable than rubber/ poly bushings, and tie rod ball and socket ends. Another must is a steering gear brace that makes the sector shaft of the steering gear ride on a bearing and braces the front frame rails. When big tires have been added it puts to Much stress on everything, bracing the frame and stuffing it. Sphon performance makes an awesome kit. Another neglected front end part is the sway bar end links. A bigger beefier hiem joint style sway bar end links are must have upgrade. A phone performance, bd diesel, Thuren all make beefy upgraded sway bar end links.

Unfortunately there’s so many personalities that they only want to see the trucks, or only want the tech or ideas to finish their own projects but that goes with the variety of things u offer. Some may be interested in buying a mecalac but these hillbillies and truck enthusiast but it’s hard keep people’s attention just out of charisma cuz everybody’s got their own thing going on the entertainment only comes from the specifics and not cuz your a movie star
