Fixing an electric scooter (eZip)

I know this is a older video, but i love this design scooter, just picked one up, striped it down droped in a 1200w brushless hub motor, modify the fram for rear disc breaks, going to a 52v battery and 30a controller. Should do 35-42mph.

I need help i brought new batteries and new charger the sccoter dies really quick after so many feet

That is strange! I'd I remember right that battery takes a while to get a full charge. Have you tried letting it charge for a long time (2 days)? The other possibility is that the charger isn't making good contact with the battery. If you have a multimeter check the voltage when charging. All the best in getting it running! I learned not to plug in a charger unless it is attached to the battery.
