Good stuff. Hopefully the Yankees hitting coaches are watching this video.

You're absolutely right. Easier said than done though I'm sure

I only played in school but keeping your head still is Uber important. Great video everything is connected.

Great analysis. The moment he tried to do too much on his swing, his control is gone. It will ne nice to compare his hits with his ground outs.

Why isnt the hitting coach on top of this??????

Exactly looks like he doesn't do anything

This is not as much a problem for them as it is for us. They want slugging at all costs. So it’s not that they don’t see it, it’s that they keep waiting for their philosophy to pay off.

@@epiSanchez-gx3zk….cause they’re idiots who think they make Einstein look pedestrian.

The way you saw Judge's swing in a previous video, I wouldn't doubt that your right. Yanks should look at this............with a little compensation(playin)

This is just a hunch but he was doing well in the beginning of the season when he was going the other way doing what he worked on in the off season. To me when he just got into the mode of wanting to once again hit homers to keep track of Henderson and Witt jr. that’s my hunch. He has to play to his abilities and he can be a very good overall ball player than what he is doing now…hitting wise.

He has natural power. He will hit .280 w/15-25 hr if he just hits it where it is pitched. Yank the stuff on the inner half and go up the middle and away with the rest.

Thanks for giving us something substantive about baseball, bruh. That's the ticket. ❤

This is a prefect analysis. Hopefully it's not the hitting coach who is whispering 'more power' in his ear...

As I’m watching (and I’ve seen the same thing, and I’m a coach fwiw), I’m thinking…if you asked Volpe, Boone and Cash, hey, would you take Jeter’s career at the plate? .310 avg, 15-20 hrs, 70-90 RBI’s, 817 OPS? Like, would you be happy, and would the team be better if you were putting up those numbers? Cause I think he has the talent, but I don’t think he’s being given the right direction, and he doesn’t know any better to question it.

Nice Biomechanical Analysis my friend, maybe you could've had a career in coaching or kinesiology or something like that

Volpe needs to take the off season, and spring training learning how to bunt better. With his good speed, I’ve been stumped why he hasn’t bunted more often. However, I’ve come to the conclusion from watching all the games, he’s not very good at it. This could easily add 15 -20 points to his average.

Bunt, yes

You have the defence on the team right now to sit him down for a week, let him re-set and work on his swing.Having him go out every day with the same result is having a negative effect on him.
