Greetings from the UK and many thanks for the video. I have the HD681 set and getting to the wiring was the problem for me. I didn't realise it was as simple as you showed popping off that cover and the principal was just the same on the HD681. I then took a photo of the wiring, cut it back a few inches, unsoldered the original wiring and resoled the same as in the photo I took and they are now working perfectly again.

Thanks but this wiring is not 100% correct because what you are hearing on both headphones are mono sound. Please follow this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2SafKukorR_qqc which is 100% correct.

Hi bro. Glad it is working but I did a mistake in the wiring. You will not get stereo sound separation. You will only get same sound on both left and right speakers. If you can wait I will post another video on my channel within 2-3 days with the correct wiring so that you get proper sound separation in both left and right speakers. Else please drop your email id here and I will email you the photo of the correct wiring.

With this wiring you won't get stereo sound. It will be mono on both speakers. Please refer to this wiring video kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2SafKukorR_qqc , to get proper stereo sound.
