is it okay to use an IEM with mic (4 PIN) on a 3 PIN extension cable that goes in mixer(until my new 3 pin IEMs arrrive)? or will i damage the cable or the headphone.... i need to pull the headphones jack out a bit so that the sound is ok, cause obviously with 4 pin if i plug it in all the way it will sound like shit

What is 'one hit solder?' I notice you just melted the insulation off the wires and tinned them at the same time. I try to burn the insulation off and always seem to fail.
