My body shop forgot to attach, or poorly attached, my trunk light, but this video allowed me to do it myself. Thank you!

Excellent video, Matt! I’ve never seen anyone show how to access the backside of the lights to attempt the reinstallation of the plastic retainer. The installation of several of these AO bright lights was the very first modification that I ever did to my Model 3. I also did the four door’s puddle lights and the glove compartment. The only discounts that I’ve ever seen is a 10% first order discount. They have a great points discount program. I recently got $50 off of an order. They track reviews written, referrals, your birthday, your purchases and maybe more things.

I also made this change. The difference is amazing!

Awesome recommendation! It makes no sense why Tesla (or other car manufacturers) wouldn’t just improve OEM lights. It really shouldn’t cost any more for them to have better lights. Just different suppliers. Manufacturers should do better research in lighting. It’s important!! Maybe they should just use the SAME lights you used for your upgrade! PS: I noticed the same thing in my Chevy Bolt.

Yeah, inadequate lighting is a pretty common issue across the auto industry--it's certainly not just a Tesla problem.

One of the first things i did to my Bolt was replace all the interior lights with bright white LEDs same with the license plate lights and reverse lights.

I must have a decent rhodopsin ..... (maker?) In the eyes because our S hatch is enough light. Ah, but perhaps I am quick with a phone or flashlight. I do suppose it could use a little more trunk light! Your iso/shutterspeed/f-stop skills are world class, btw. Great video!

I replaced the 3 trunk lights and 1 frunk light as well and they're so much brighter!

Very well done, thanks Alex. That difference is AMAZING. Do you offer any discount codes from AO? If not perhaps reach out to them - I bet they would offer one for your viewers.

I'll have to ask them. Like I said, this wasn't a sponsored video and I haven't had any communication with AO about making this video.

@@AlexVenz fair enough. There are plenty codes out there if one were to just do a little searching of KZbin vids

My plastic frame broke. Is there any chance to buy a new one?
@AlexVenz3 жыл бұрын
You may be able to order them from a Tesla service center, otherwise you could always 3D print a replacement.
