I worked as a car audio installer for over 16 years and those actuators are really sensitive to staying engaged to long and melting. The actuator is engaged for way to long.They are supposed to only receive a 12v pulse for less than a 1/4 second. Any longer the heat build up is instant. We used to get customers that try to use them as door pops and they would fry them in less than a month. You need to use a solenoid and you won't have the melting issue. Hit me up if you have any questions.

@@ClassALiving Dude, if you're ever boon docking in the Bend area, hit me up we could do some videos together. I have my FAA Part 107 Drone License, we could do some videos of Patches and you would be legit to use on KZbin and monetize.

Hey good video it would be a good idea to put some Electrical tape on the wires or some plastic tubing to keep moisture out

Nathan, You shouldn't operate the generator and 'shore' power at the same time. I believe you can damage the rv power converter. Somebody please correct me if i'm wrong.

I can only select one source at a time and cannot combine them.

Instead of haveing the choke solonoid on a switch just wire it to the starter motor solonoid, so when it's cranking it's on choke and as soon as its started its off that will work better and with less wires
@ClassALiving4 жыл бұрын
Don't need to use the choke every time it's started.
