Thanks for sharing this video. Working on same generator in my shop. Won’t idle down. The new governor solenoid will be here Monday. Cleaned the carburetor but forgot how the choke hooks up.

The best video I have found to fix my generators carb! Every other video I've watched doesn't show how to remove the choke and throttle linkages but you do. Thank you!

Good repair. Alot of people will get rid of good gas powered equipment and it is almost always a fuel delivery issue. That will last for many more years for sure. Have a Blessed Day Pete! Justin

Carbs are so cheap now. It's not worth buying a carb kit anymore. Great job Pete. Take Care.

No reason not to have a new one waiting just in case a ice storm like Texas had

One more time I promise, have you considered a propane conversion ? I’d love to get away from the dirty gas problems every year even with stabilizing. Amazon has some cool looking conversion kits on the cheap( when I got the generator years ago a kit was veeery expensive) got a em5000xs or something to to that just for the Florida hurricanes. Would be a great upgrade also how would I add a starter. So many questions. Sorry

If you really want it to be ready and no problem then change it over to propane kit Texas learned the hard way but the propane units had no problem

Oh and I’m going try again for the fourth time

Just put a propane kit on it and you’re done messing with it
