Connection/functionality issues aside, it’s hard to have a competitive pvp in a mobile game where they rely on predatory monetization and time sinks/locking out content for extensive periods of time (for “longevity”). To Niantic, pvp is not a feature to help the game grow/thrive, but a way to funnel people into spending money and using the other awful features like routes to get a zygarde complete.

This content is quite nice. I have a shundo Leafeon 😂 I got it in the beginning of my comeback to Pokémon Go when I didn't know something about IVs (you had to check what the trainer was saying) or what is good to evolve. Just saw the green lure and thought a let's evolve a shiny Eevee 😂 still sad about that 😢

I love these videos man. I'm sure they are hard work but I'd love to see more. I'd imagine Pokemon will keep getting larger movesets in the future. Eevolutions always had weak stab/based movepools but get a few goodies here and there.

Sand attack could help Espeon a bit. Freeze dry can be a charged move somewhere between Avalanche and Icy Wind, and super-effective against water types.

Making Freeze-Dry super effective against water too will make Glaceon better. But knowing that Niantic is unfaithful to the main games, it’s very unlikely to happen.

There is always options. You can get any common move that a lot of Pokemon learn like even Curse or Leer or what they did with Counter and Charm and make it broken and give it to specific pokemon. Espeon learns Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, there's Stored Power too... if no one has then it's all fair to make them Flying Press clones or better.

Confuse Ray would be really cool as a fast move. Counter and Charm get the treatment like you said, why not other moves?

As cool is it'd be to see some water types (including vaporeon) get better moves, the GL meta is water dominated enough as it is. Some of the eeveelutions could have some spice play in limited cups.

Having another solid water fast move they can give out would be nice since WG and Bubble are middling. For espeon, what if they buffed zen headbutt? I know audino, licki, and other bulky pokes get it so that would probably limit what they could do there even still. Would be cool to see the eevolutions get some buffs

Leafeon is my favorite eeveelution, I only have one for the Ultra league tho, but honestly hearing you say it has a lot of potential gives me hope that niantic will give it a new move that buffs it one day

I think Espeon could benefit from a Zen Headbutt buff, along with a lot of mons. Just rework the whole damn move already, it blows chunks.

I want Niantic to prioritizie reworking garbage fast moves. Imagine how great the meta shakeup would be. ALSO, if there are going to be fast moves of the same type and # of turns (Poison Jab and Acid / Counter and Low Kick) then one NEEDS to have better energy generation, worse damage, and vice versa. What sense does it make for Acid to deal less damage AND generate less energy than Poison Jab? At this point, I dont care about buffing already strong picks if it means everything else is brought up too.
