Thanks man. I applied this solution and now both fans are smoking working. Now I can drive on the high way without the fear of overheating leading to burning the top gasket.By estimate I was told it will cost me $210. Thanks man again.

Which pins the ones closer to the windshield or tho the left?

Legit just did this in under five minutes. Fans still refused to turn on after I initially replaced the resistor but this does the trick.

It's easier to just pool out the relay And show where to stick the wire And that takes only few sekends "This way you may burn the computer"!

What gauge wire did you use?

It was either 14 or 16 gauge. Just basic speaker wire

They should last a good while. The stock fans are built very well and can dont burn out that fast

Stupid question.. i did this and worked. How long should one run it like this? I know it reduces the fans lifetime. Dont really care about that since they are very cheap tbh but would this cause any other problems such as electrical? Reason I dont care about the fans life time is, ive changed thermostat, fans, resistor, radiator, headbasket and other shit that has to do with cooling the car. and the car still over heats due to the fans for some reason not engaging.. My othwr problem now is, the blower motor not working.. i already changed the blower motor resistor, worked for a week and then stop working. The resistor doesnt look fried.. maybe my blower motor is fucked... by anychance, is there a way to bypass the blower motor resistoe?
@JoeFasho4 жыл бұрын
The fans will be fine. I ran mine for over a year with no issues. It wont hurt the electrical. When you say your blower motor, are you referring to your ac blower motor?
@JuanHernandez-kk8ur4 жыл бұрын
@@JoeFasho yes the ac blower motor... i found my problem for that... it was the small little 10 red fuse for the blower motor that was making sparks since it had a bridge done to it from being a burnt fuse in the past

Just wondering on your recent video on focus you use the SCT X4 is that still working out for you? I have similar problems on my focus on idle it overheats then when I run the car it stops overheating the fan kicks on. I changed the cylinder head sensor, fan resistors. Change the water pump and thermostat to 180 degree. Still overheats on idle. It's just frustrating. Maybe SCT X4 will help. Please advise thanks

@@JoeFasho yes

Yes the fan is kicking on
@JoeFasho5 жыл бұрын
Ok thats good. Are the kicking on after the car starts to heat up? I ask becuase thats what mine was doing. But my high speed was the only one turning on. After i got the tuner, i was able to set the low speed fan temp and high speed fan temp and it fixed my issue. Now the fans turn on (low speed/high speed) and the car does not overheat.
@JoeFasho5 жыл бұрын
If you need a quick and simple solution for now without buying a tuner, you can run the fans as a constant. You can see how in my video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJXNmaSEZ951qZo
