Great vid. Question - if you got to the point of deciding to remove some of that bad soil in the back yard and bring in new, how many inches would it take to make a meaningful difference ? tks

Hey Doc, can you do a review on the new Revolution 26 reel mower?
@vonmousetrap6 ай бұрын
Doc, the hawks are gonna get the chickens if you let them free range. I’ll put money on it. Think about a chicken tractor, keeps them safe & they can stay in the garden.

What is your consideration when seed is down. Then deciding to mow again before germination. Surely this kills / destroys the seed?
@gspencer1236 ай бұрын
Between the core aeration and not bagging, I don't think there'll be any issues with mowing pre germination. Just my guess.

Hey Doc, Have a general question on the reel mowers hoping you can answer even though it’s not related to this video. Been contemplating getting one but our yard is not really level, to the point I have to cut our Bermuda at 2-2.5 inches to avoid circle scaring. Would I have issues with the reel mower with this or would it not be that much of an issue due to the way the blades cut? Appreciate ya sir!

Julia Child used to say that you never should apologize to your guests if you felt you messed up the food, they are there to see you and probably won't even notice. Same goes for videos, it's no big deal, we all have things goin on, and it's hot now (i.e. hard to get a lot done outside). Cheers!

Not related to your current video, but I am going to follow your Bermuda lawn schedule and I was curious about the settings for a commercial Lesco walk behind spreader? Also, for your second pre-emergent treatment in the spring what type of liquid do you use because I only see the granular product. Thanks!

I am trying to establish a new bermuda lawn by my pond, previously covered with natural growth of miscellaneous weeds and grasses. How do you combat weeds by a pond without hurting the natural ecosystems of the pond? I am looking for the same appearance as you have in this video at your farm, right down to the dock! I would also like to know how you built your dock if you wouldn’t mind sharing 😊

I'm in western GA, I think my lawn has Speing Dead Spot in it. Thats what other neighbors have in thrir lawns. My question is, I have Dirt Booster, can I put that down on my lawn IF it has a fungus problem. I want to feed the Bermuda grass and not a fungus problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
@chasingthefish90425 ай бұрын
Fungus doesn't use nitrogen or anything like that. They eat wood. Or they eat plant matter. If you have a Fungus issue fertilize through it. That's what I do.
