Using the Yukon in Oklahoma and its been 100 degrees and I am watering at 9pm and 9 am . Using a reg Honda mower cutting about one inch still have a lot of dead grass under the green …. Been fertilizing with weed and feed maybe it’s killing weeds under but it looks like some dead hybrid mixed in. Think I am not going to use that stuff anymore . See if it helps .

We bought one as well and it is really quiet. My question is I get water in the trough under the fan blades and when outside its you can really hear the water splashing. What did I do wrong? I likely will reach out to the supplier, but thanks in case you know.

Doc, I've got a question. I saw in an older video you were talking about testing with Blackjack seed... well, I'm doing a full renovation on my side yard and my backyard. Was all covered in like 4 inches of pea gravel. I got the pea gravel out of the side yard and soil down, now I'm trying to get it ready to get some seed down, and I think I want to put down blackjack because I've got three huge trees in the yard. I'm in Lubbock, Texas, so think hot and dry. What would YOU do if it was your lawn? Thanks for all you do.

Could you please tell me when I should cut my grass while I am trying to let it reseed itself. I have the Tall Y shaped seeds with the black floaters on it now. Should I wait for the seeds to fall off on their own? Should I wait for them to turn brown? Thanks for the HELP!

Hey Doc , glad you showed the centipede grass. I have what I thought was centipede in a few spots of the yard but it never produced stolon's until this year. I've tried using a phone app which is about 70-80 percent accurate that identified it as St. Augustine. You mentioned the heat, we're starting the annual heat advisory here in Texas. Try to stay cool. Enjoy your channel.

Doc make sure you treat the area where the chickens are at for bugs. . If you haven’t yet. Looks fantastic.

Doc, if you have a chicken coop, you, of course have: flies, rats, snakes, other vermin ... flies love the dung you go there, that is the bait. Check your trash-bins, that can be very surprising too.

Ive been using fly bags for years. I get mine from lowes. Im not sure the brand name. They work great. They smell like bad fish. I place them next to my garbage cans. I get hundreds of flies. Never place them near a door to your house. These bags draw the flies to them. You can get them in your house when you open your door. They work fantastic.

Yes the smells from those plastic bags its terrible, try the one on plastic containers, its a little more expensive but it hold the odor better. At least it works better for me 🤷🏼♂️

We really did not have much of a winter this year so the ticks have been horrible. I don't blame you for wearing socks with repellent on them. We're in the same boat rain wise, a tenth of an inch in the past three weeks. Only one guy in our neighborhood has a totally green yard, he'll probably have a $400 water bill for his efforts.
