Fixing Leaking RV on Board Water Pump

Repairing my on board water pump in Liberal, Kansas.

Can’t thank you enough. Had the same problem plus leaking under the pressure switch. Took it all apart and put Alladin Magic Lube on it. So far so good. Will keep me in business until I can get a new pump. Thanks again. 👍🏼

That’s not the sealing surface. The seal is around the pump diaphragms.

Mine is doing the same thing. I think it's the Diaphragm that needs replaced? Cant help but notice that it's rubber. Both the yellow and black part. Looks to me like it serves 2 purposes. As the diaphragm and also the gasket.

Mines leaking too at the main connector. I’ll be taking apart Made in California! Lol

It did, but i only used it that way for a couple months or so. I used JB Quick

Mine lasted two months. Kept it for a spare for a while but eventually threw it out in working order.

Hi, had the same problem with my shurflo pump (made in Mexico!) all for the cost of a gasket. Fixed mine same way as you but used some bedding sealer I had left from fitting a roof vent. Great stuff, very sticky and viscous but never sets. Did the guy next door get charged for two pitches ? All the best from Rhodes Greece 🇬🇷.

I doubt he got charged double. It was a lady and I didn’t see anyone else. Maybe just inexperienced
