i think its better to spray the figures with a clear coat before painting to help the paint grip instead of sanding the figures

What spray do you recommend? I generally avoid sprays because there’s no ventilation in my room 😶

@@KenIMakeIt i usually see people use rust oleum clear spray and dura max clear spray but i guess you can look for any matte clear spray you can find and experiment with it and see what you like best

All respect, but I think sanding is the way to go. All the Sprays do is add another easy to rub off layer to your figures.

Love it! An alternative to sanding is using spray matte clear. It enables you to have the “tooth” needed for paint to adhere, but you don’t lose any delicate details it may have, like gold lines and such. It works as a clear “primer” and helps achieve interesting looks.

Great work! You should try and fix/upgrade the mcfarlane dc multiverse Arkham Knight figure. They did him dirty and could definitely benefit a from makeover!

Try getting a black Gundam marker if you want to fill in panel lines instead of using a small brush

The finished result is amazing!! When I first got the figure, I had one issue; his height. Personally, I think he should be the size of the Khonshu or watcher figure

You'd think he'd be bigger because of normal Ultron, but he's uploaded into the body Vision was installed to so he's just human sized. It's kinda weird. It also makes him look kinda wimpy next to the AoU Ultron figure. I kinda wish they gave him a Vision-face alternate head too.

If you want to achieve a gunmetal color use more black and dry brush the silver on while if you want a bright silver use less black and put more silver on the brush, same thing with gold to some extent
