13:30 I think you did a great job, generally when I want to remove shine from something and retain color I use a matte clear varnish and it will retain most the color while removing shine. Absolutely stunning job on both the spider symbols by the way!

Almost always it means that some has had to work hard to train those skills, but calling them gifted is a way of saying they make it look easy when it's in reality very hard. Not trying to diminish the dudes work here, just a common English figure of speech.

I think they added the blue to try and represent how it looks when the light shines on it, I guess the rest is just from early concept art since they start on these toys way before the movie is done

I recommend using acetone no remove any paint that Hasbro uses but you must go very careful with it because it damage the plastic if it's to much👍

I saw this one asian creator on TikTok that buys anime figures and adds a bunch of highlights and makes it all solid colors and uses cell shading. He does it similar to how you tried with the arms. It maybe good to study how they do it, I wanted to study it but I still can't grasp it but you might be able to

No it's a concept but I like it much more than the design chosen for atsv, it seems like a better evolution of the first costume and it's not simply a black costume with a logo and two red stripes under the armpits, those little details on the shoulders have that I-don't-know-what thing and the spider on the back that reaches the neck it is visually intriguing. However, we will see about the costume for the third film, maybe he will create the definitive costume like the classic one from the comics or maybe they will do something totally different
