@@KenIMakeIt ya so was I! It was bad, but it wasn't someone that couldn't be fixed! I even made a video on me fixing it! I repainted it completely! I didn't do it off of the original figure though, due to the fact that my brother already spoiled it. But it turned out great! 👍

I don’t know how to explain the consistent haha, but I recommend working with thin layers and build it up slowly as necessary. You’ll have more control this way

Most of the problems with this one are abit better on the second one they did. It has the glossy details on the arms, shoulders and back. Also the feet have the black trim. He comes with the updated Tom Holland head aswell (the hairs not the best) just wish he had fist hands. I feel like hand accessories would practically cost nothing unless they're a new mold.

Out of curiosity, what kind of brushes did you use to paint over the lines and then repaint the red? I wanna do that myself, but the paint often gets into the seams, rather than having gently lightened them like your brushes have.

I’m using a very worn out brush haha. I recommend applying very little amount of paint at an angle, and not thin out the paint with water.

I wouldn’t thin out the paint with water in this case because if it’s too runny, it’ll seep into the web lines. Doing the opposite effect.

The original figure looks like a cheap bootleg of your custom painted figure. The detailing really is what makes or breaks so many collector figures. Often, the sculpt is there, the articulation, everything to make a great figure...until it gets to the detailing. And then things go sideways. It can ruin a great likeness, or make a well sculpted costume look flat and lifeless. Though in this case, things started to go sideways with the choice of the red plastic. The detailing (or lack thereof) just didn't help matters any.
