Of course no stores around here have such wire coated in white vinyl or anything similar. Had to settle for a white'ish silver. Doesn't look bad but it's not exactly what I'd like. It's good enough for whenever I happen to come across some proper white coated wires though.

I'm going to use a combination of techniques from different videos to make a personally better looking spiderman webbing. For example another video put hot glue and paint on the end of the web to make a goopy bit, but in this video he just curves it to make the end which honestly is more efficient and just as good. But one thing that neither of these videos did was to actually make the starting loop where you put the webbing on the wrist around the peg of the wrist joint on a specific figure so that the loop is inside the joint when you peg it in, hiding it more. I did however take quite a bit from this video though so thanks!

Hey are there alternatives to vinyl coated wire? From where I live I cant find these, and twist ties dont seem to be good as they dont straighten out like that at all
@FreeterProductions2 жыл бұрын
There is an alternative. If there is a dollar tree near you they have a black and red wire that they sell in the hardware section. They are basically the same as the white one in the video. You can paint the black wire white paint acrylic once you finish making the web. It will give you comic style look. Hope this helps.

@FreeterProductions4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately they stop carrying the wire that used for now. If you have a dollar tree store nearby they carry something similar. It’s called the tool bench hardware wire set and it comes in both black and red. Using the black wire and then painting it white will give it a comic book look. Hope it helps.

The wires have been more difficult to find these last two years. There is another option. Dollar Tree sells wires in red and black in their tool section. You could use the black wire and twist it up and paint it white in the end. I hope this is helpful.
