Interesting take what was dissapointing about the figures is it worth ordering? I just ordered the sh figuarts tobey and i lowkey also wanted to order this 3 pack but all i see is negative reviews on tobeys i know 89 for the 3 pack is a tough pill to swallow but id like to know if its worth it?

@@AndresGarcia-wd4qlI have both shf and marvel legends tobey and andrew, and i gotta say while shf proportions are a bit off, they are miles better than marvel legends, which also includes the paint, detail, and accessories. i’d rather save up money and get the shf unless you wanna buy the 3 pack and either risk it on the qc issues for the paint, or spend more money to paint the figure shown here. if you are scared about shf figures breaking, dont worry they dont. throughout my 2 years of collecting shf, none have ever broke on me. this is my personal experience, but honestly you will be just fine.

Looks leagues better that the original, especially the red. I always felt this figure’s color schemes were way too oversaturated and your colder toned red looks much much better and the deeper blue is icing on the cake

I think that the proportions are good because they try to make tobey's body type in NWH, which is thinner and les bulkier

If you say that you have a full circle moment with Tobey's Spider-Man, well, I have one too, but this one doesn't include action figures lol To start it up, my dad is a Marvel geek. He used to read Marvel comics when he was young (around middle school). He knows every Marvel heroes, starting from X-Men, Avengers, Doctor Strange, just to name a few, but his favorite Marvel superhero is none other than -- gues what -- Spider-Man. However, his hobby stopped as he grew older (I think his hobby stopped when he married my mom). Time flies to 2001 when he bought me an Ultimate Spider-Man comic (don't exactly remember what issue was it, but still remember the panel where Peter made his suit but still webless at the end of the issue). This comic book introduced me to Marvel Comics. Go to 2002, dad brought us to a nearby cinema to watch Spider-Man. My dad was so excited to see his childhood hero came to life along with his little family. He bought us a ticket of 4 (dad, mom, me, and my little brother). We watched the movie by the weekend. A 6 years old me at that time didn't really understand what's going on, but for my dad, it was a moment that he would cherish for life. Ever since that day, we would never miss watching Marvel movies everytime the new one comes out, starting from Spider-Man 2 to MCU ones. We always watch those movies togethern, and a moment like this turns into a family tradition. Time flies to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Things have changed, changed so much than 20 years ago. My dad is now a retiree, and so does mom. Due to the covid, things like watching movies like we used to do becomes difficult. Luckily when No Way Home hit theaters, things got better. Me, now a working as a full time employee, bought a ticket of No Way Home for four of us -- at the same cinema -- where I watched the first Spider-Man movie a decade ago. No Way Home gives me a full circle closure to my story as a kid who loves Marvel thanks to his dad.

The Raimi movies in the early 2000s are legendary. I still remember being a kid & seeing all the promo/advertising leading up to Spidey 1, even the “tomorrow” TV spot. I seen Spidey 2 in theaters 4 times back then.

The body proportion of Tobey is definitely not correct. After your improvement in his outfit, Tobey looks much better. When Tobey stands next to other two Spider-Men, he is one of the group now. Good job!

Just a little advice, improve the color grading in your videos, maybe making the shots more... "warmer" would make the viewer better able to notice the colors of your great customs

I think it would be FANTASTIC if you took a crack at the Jessica Drew figure. It’s not really screen accurate and I think you’ll do great at improving it

I think the main things stopping this figure from looking truly like Tobey Maguire are the lack of muscle definition in his legs, arms and chest, the slightly bulbous stomach, the flat chest, and the narrow shoulders. I see so much potential in this figure, it's a shame they messed up his physique so bad.

I don't really like, I mean, the red now it's really dark like in Spiderman 3 but it should be from NWH (the red is more vibrant) and paint the lenses would pop more the head as well the weblines more dark but it looks nice

They're not gunmetal in No Way Home. The outer eye frames are a glossy black. While the inside lense is pure white.

Don't be scared to paint yours. If you've got enough money, get yourself some decent quality paint, brushes gloss & matte varnishes. What you wanna do first before painting any figure, is to wash the figure with soap & water. This will help the new paint stick better. And if you're gonna paint joints, I'd recommend sanding them first. Oh, & use one layer of paint at a time. That way it will look better & more cohesive. Once you're done painting, you can seal it with the varnish. Hope this helps. I just wish I knew all of this before I got into customizing myself. And I wish I had better quality paints. Oh well.

don't be scared, is not a mafex or sh figuarts, marvel legends are always easier to find (specially now that aliexpress has a lot of them), you can always remove the pain before sealing it

The proportions are actually pretty accurate. Tobey’s suit wasn’t as padded as it was for the original movies. The Figuarts is the same way, he has a very “average” build.

Not just the fact that Tobey isn't as jacked as he used to be. (Still in good shape though). But also the fact that his suit in no way home wasn't nearly as muscle padded as it was in the Raimi trilogy. Those suits had lots of muscle padding.
