Fixing Mazda Skyactiv 2.2D Engine Light Issue. The cause and the fix in two simple steps.

It took me 2.5 days to decarbon my cx5 2.2 Skyactive diesel. It was at 60k miles and looked very similar. I did the egr and egr cooler but they were quite clean in comparison. Up to 2016 they also have worn exhaust cam shaft and blowing from fuel injector washers causing carbon at top of the engine and blocked oil pickup strainer. Mazda has also released new fuel injector washers and revised tightening procedure to resolve that problem. Apart from all that, change oil every 5k miles, then it’s a good engine 😀 great video btw😀
