Great comprehensive guide! Those “rivet” looking things were plastic 10mm bolts on my 2015 GTI S instead of the metal washers. Otherwise, everything else was spot on!

Thanks for the informative video, I used a ratchet strap on the base and a large screwdriver on the lid to remove it. I have a 2011 mini s with 60611 miles and the filter was as dark as all the videos about it show:/ glad i replaced it

This worked for me on Jaguar XF 2017: Chock Wheels before Starting this procedure !!! 1) Start Engine 2) Put in Neutral (N) 3) Hold EPB Down 4) Turn Off Engine 5) Turn ignition on (Don't Start) 6) Hold EPB switch in "off" position for two seconds, then, keeping it pressed, floor the accelerator for two seconds. 7) Holding both in the same position, toggle ignition off then on rapidly - EPB goes to "service" or "maintenance" mode. 8) Turn ignition off and replace pads. 9) To Reset Start Engine and Put in Park (P) 10) To reset EPB - Turn ignition on first 11) Hold EPB switch in "On" position for two seconds, then, keeping it pressed, floor the accelerator for two seconds. 12) Holding both in the same position, toggle ignition off then on rapidly - EPB will reset. Don't forget to remove Chocks !!!

I have a 2015 countryman, r60, with the same pulley and idler. After unscrewing, I can't get the pulley out over the water pump. I've seen in another video that i may need to remove the engine mount and raise or lower the engine. Ouch. Be sure to bleed air out at the thermostat. I picture of where that is between the wires hoses and pipes would be helpful.

While you're there, put in a 7mm EGR restrictor plate. It'll still pass emissions, and it won't throw codes at that level of restriction. You'll have many less headaches down the line.

It’s quite easy. Push plug inwards the use a screwdriver push into release tab ,gently twist, it should click. It will then pull off. It’s easy once you have done it a few times. Try practicing on a easier accessible clip. Good luck!

Thanks. I drained the coolant and replaced with fresh. Just put a oil catch pan underneath for the oil leakage and topped up. Thanks for your comment.

Excellent step-by-step instruction which perfectly matched everything I found on my own 2015 Golf SE ... thank you! The only exception I found was at the very end to release the bulb itself; my lens assembly did not have any plastic ring to turn to release the bulb. Instead, it uses a wire spring clip with 2 "ears" that need to be released from a notch on each side using needle-nose pliers, then the bulb pulls straight out. Perhaps this variation in the bulb holder has to do with my Golf having the auto-leveling headlight option?

Just bought a 2019 rifter, 6 months ago, never hear about this problem before. Bugger me when i put my foot down i get low engine oil pressure and car says stop, I pull over switch the car off and eait then back on and we are good to go, I need to replace the belt i guess i cant keep pulling over 😢
