Been missing your vids. Haven’t posted in a few. WHO THE HELL WOULD BITCH ABOUT HOURS TALKING!?!?! Hoping you’ll post again soon. Besides being gorgeous, you’re crazy talented. You’re the trifecta. Eye candy, cat lover and talented.

Lol! The trifecta! Thank you! That is so very kind of you to say. Gorgeous!? Wow! Thank you 😊 I appreciate you wanting more content. It helps drive me to create more. In the future I'd love to post a video each week, but that will be a little while.

This lesson is a Biggy when making a creative effort. I found that even with more structured drawing, you just have to do whatever it takes to either add or modify what you planned, and no one will know it was created "ala booboo". Your videos are always welcome and very useful. Thank you and Happy Birthday!

Exactly! The artist is the only one that will ever know the accidents or mistakes. Thank you very much! It was a very good birthday

Thank you. That was super helpful. I’ve made all of those mistakes and more, and have fixed them in similar ways, so it was helpful to have my instincts validated. And it also reinforced the need to not panic and just analyze and problem-solve. Which is the root of the creative process anyway. Too often, I have panicked, and without a lot of analysis, have inked in sections creating weight where I didn’t necessarily want it, just to get rid of oopses. In fact, that’s what I did on the piece I was working on tonight, and I’m debating now whether I just let it go and start fresh, or if I should keep working it. Anyway, needless to say, this was a very timely and helpful reminder that you can fix almost anything if you just take a breath, and come up with a plan. Thank you for verbalizing your thought process. Happy birthday!

It makes me very happy to know that I could help you! Especially at that crucial moment! I know that gut sinking, heart racing moment when you accidentally put something on paper that isnt supposed to be there. It has taken me a very long time to be ok with the little mistakes, and realize that no one but myself will know that its there, and that its a good opportunity to learn. Thank you for the amazing comment, and for the beautiful feedback. It lets me know that I am reaching the right audience.

Second, your videos have been super helpful to me, I have been trying to get this for months and until your videos I couldn't quite get it right so thank you soooo much....also you absolutely do not talk too much please don't listen to people like that if they don't like the way you do your videos they can just keep scrolling!! And last, I love your cats and their names lol and that you make them a part of your videos!! Thank you so much for your great videos!!

Thank you! It was a fantastic week off. If I could I my entire life would be like that week. I'm glad that this was able to help you with some of those little oopsie moments. LOL! That's good to know that you liked seeing my head dip into frame! Its something that probably will never change, just because I don't know when I'm doing it. I want to try and incorporate the cats more! They are always buzzing around me looking for attention. Getting them involved is so much fun. Thanks again!

What kind of paper do you use?

I should be putting this in the description of every video I post! Thank you! I'll add that to the spreadsheet of content to create. I have been using Strathmore's 500 series bristol board for years now. I really enjoy their smooth/plate paper for what I do, but I know that other artists doing line artwork enjoy Vellum/textured surface bristol. Here is a link to the paper: www.jerrysartarama.com/strathmore-500-bristol-100-cotton-pads
