Here’s my opinion: Ghostface-keep him. By far the best guest pick in this pack, and one a lot of people want. I want to throw out an idea, though: what if between rounds, one of his between-round taunts has another Ghostface come in and tag the previous one out? I’ve only seen the first Scream movie, but I’ve heard that pretty much all of them have two killers, so why not have that also be the case here? Noob-I personally think that this is a bad time to do Noob. They don’t have anybody else to be Sub-Zero after Bi-Han becomes Noob, and since Sub-Zero is a required character for every character for MK game’s base roster (heck, he’s the only character that’s NEVER missed a roster), they’re gonna have to turn him back into Sub-Zero by the end, and that just feels like a waste of having Noob at all. I think they should have found some way to have both Noob and Sub-Zero coexist, like in the previous timelines, or saved him for later, either as a DLC character that doesn’t appear in the story or for a later game. I also just don’t like his hat or that his energy is green and not purple, but that’s not as big a deal, considering you get the UMK3 version when you pre-order the pack. Personally, I would’ve pushed Noob back and given somebody else this spot (I’d pick Kabal because he’s my favorite character and I desperately want him to be playable in this game, but there are other characters that would also be good inclusions). Cyrax and Sektor I like being here, but I feel like the gender swap was just unnecessary and is only going to make people upset (which it did). I thought I’d angry about it, since Cyrax is one of my favorite characters, but honestly, I just feel like it’s stupid and unnecessary and I’m not really upset as much as I am disappointed. I’d keep them both, but I wouldn’t have switched their genders. I don’t think Conan and the T-1000 are popular enough to sell a lot of packs. Considering the point of guest characters is to make people who are fans of those characters want to buy them, I just don’t think these were the best choices. For the T-1000, yes, he was the main antagonist of the most popular Terminator movie, but I still don’t think many people outside of diehard Terminator fans will really care (I mean, I like Terminator, and I still think this was a strange inclusion). As for Conan, I’m pretty sure the only reason he’d here is because NetherRealm still has the rights to Arnold’s likeness from the last game, and they wanted to get as much as they could out of it. Frankly, most people today don’t know who Conan is, or if they do, then they still don’t really know enough about him to care. I know Conan The Barbarian was a popular movie in the 80s, but unlike Terminator, Robocop, or Rambo, his franchise isn’t really relevant anymore, and even the people who like him just don’t really talk about him (also, he’s technically the first Marvel character in MK. Regardless of the fact that Marvel no longer owns him, he exists in the mainline Marvel comic universe. I know it would’ve been near-impossible to get a more popular Marvel character like Deadpool, Punisher, or Carnage in here, but with this context, it just feels really odd that he made it in before more popular Marvel characters that arguably fit the game better). Personally, I would’ve just made all three guests horror-themed, and switched these two out for Michael Myers and Jigsaw, but there’s plenty of other choices that could also work better than the ones they actually picked. As for the characters you picked: Jade and Skarlet. Jade I do think should be in the game, but I don’t think she is required to be in every game. I think she is in a weird spot where she’s not TECHNICALLY needed for every game, but it’s still weird not to have her. Frankly, though, after Kabal, she would probably be my next MK character pick. As for Skarlet, I don’t think she NEEDS to be here either, and I don’t like the idea of cyberizing her because I feel like that would both jeopardize her powers and that it’s too far removed from how she’s been established. Also, I think Cyrax and Sektor need to stay, as the story demands them, and they are two characters that a large portion of the community has wanted to be fully playable in a non-Triborg way for a very long time. Khrome is a fan-created character, and unlike the other ones that got in over the years, he didn’t start out as an arcade rumor, so I’m not entirely sure if NetherRealm could legally make him a full character, and even if they could, I’m not so sure they should. Also, I hate to break it to you, but six character packs are going to stay as three MK characters and three guests, so you can’t replace a guest character with him without replacing an MK character with another guest. Finally, Hitgirl. I don’t think she’d be much better than Conan. I genuinely don’t think she is popular enough, either. I know she’s a popular character in the Kick-Ass fanbase, but Kick-Ass is very niche. It has a cult following, and I don’t feel like she would sell many more packs than Conan (I will admit she’s probably more well-known, but not by much.). This is the problem with female guest characters in MK: there aren’t enough that both fit the game AND are popular enough to sell packs, and a lot of the ones that are might be too hard to get. Frankly, the only female guest character that really makes sense for MK once you take all if that into consideration is Harley Quinn.

Starting with X, there’s been a running theme to the guest characters X: horror movie villains 11: 80s action movie characters except Spawn and Joker, although the latter was originally intended to be Ash Williams. 1: Corrupt superheroes from popular movies and shows. Keeping with that theme, they should’ve used aged-up Hit-Girl and Harley Quinn, and for the third character, I’d probably go for Hancock or Bloodshot, hell, maybe even Sylar from Heroes.

@@LanaDelReySupremacy Mostly it's about what you can make the character do..johnny cage ended up with full powers so that he could be taken seriously as a real threat and fighter in MK and Peacemaker makes up with just being a human using different helmet effects. Ghostface again is really only known for stabbing people with a knife and used a gun once or twice it's just a human with no powers at all in a costume. To take ghostface as a serious threat on a MK battlefield is a joke. Even kano is more a threat then ghostface is with a knife.

*Possible Kombat Pack 3/Second Aftermath Storyline* Title: *Blood Ties* Synopsis: The third kombat pack will involve the plot line regarding Kenshi's quest to destroy the Yakuza along with Johnny Cage and The Special Forces (who'll both play an important role within the story). There'll be a B plot regarding The Special Forces stopping the Vaeternians from using Earthrealm as their personal McDonald's and eating/turning every human they see into Vaeternians by destroying all of their bases, which are (coincidently enough) slaughterhouses, as seen in Megan F-I MEAN Nitara's tower ending. Eventually, the paths of both factions cross and two members of the Yakuza betray their clan in favor of the other one. Towards the end of the DLC, Kenshi runs across his son, Takeda (who'll be a playable character within this storyline), who tells everyone that the Vaeternians aren't the only enemy they should worry about before informing them about his future where the Earth was burnt to ashes by an entity known as Blaze before heading back to his future. I know that's just a prediction I've come up with for the next Kombat Pack, but I'd like to see that happen after the release of Khaos Reigns. Roster 1. Kobra (Now a member of The Yakuza and Johnny's rival after he started dating Cristina; Johnny's ex-wife. He'll also be re-designed to not make him look like Ken from Street Fighter). 2. Konda (A new character; the younger brother of Kobra and a member of the Yakuza. Kobra didn't have a brother in the original timeline, Liu Kang gave him one because Konda would serve as a reminder for Kobra to always put his family (which he lacked) first before anything else and help him not walk too far in the path of darkness, which he does anyhow). 3. Kira (Now a monster hunter who lives in Outworld and is someone who'll join Kenshi and his team after hearing the news that Vaeternians are causing havo(k)c within Earthrealm. 4. Overseer Dobura (A new character; leader of the Vaeternians and the one who persuaded both Kobra and Konda to join him on his quest for world domination) Guest Characters (Only three cause four will be too much) 1. Art the Clown 2. Victor Crowley 3. Red Hood (Jason Todd)

I agree, imo I feel like Conan should have been either Nightwolf or Kotal Kahn. MK1's DLC is made up of story characters and guest characters. If you replace the MK characters than you need to keep in mind that the story would also have to change. Which to be fair can be done but you would have to keep that in mind when making these wishlists. Another thing a part of this new story seems to deal with some of the Arcade Endings so you would have to work that into it too. As for the new story I think instead of following Scorpion and Sub-Zero they could of maybe followed the Wu Shi's part of this point in time (which might be in this story) or even focus more on the OIA with Kenshi and maybe include some characters from that side of things. But I feel like the direction they went was probably one of the few ways they could have gone after the previous story's ending. Maybe the next story DLC will be the one focused on Kenshi and Takeda's Arcade Endings and we finally get some more OIA and Red and Black Dragons members

It's fairly clear to me that the only reason why Conan and T1000 are in this game is that they both still had license agreements regarding both the Terminator franchise and Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness. if it were me I would've kept ghost face, changed noob saibot's OUTFIT, maybe replace the green with purple, I would've swapped out cyrax and sektor for (maybe) D'Vorah and Shinnok, instead of Conan the barbarian I would've tried to get permission to put Alastor (hazbin hotel) instead of Conan but as a backup for him I'd have gotten Samurai jack and I would've kept the T-1000, criticise me all you want, this is the kombat pack 2 that I want

Cyber Skarlet makes no sense for the character. Her whole thing is blood magic, she can't bleed whens she's a cybernetic tincan, so she would instantly lose her powers. Overall I think this is an acceptable DLC pack, Ghostface and Conan could definitely be replaced by better guest picks but on the MK side, I'm satisfied with what we got.

I mentioned it in another comment that she would skill have some of her own blood. And she can’t always use her opponent’s, plus the enhanced abilities could let her shock, incinerate, or poison blood now too!

Cyber Skarlet was in The Chalenge Mode of Mortal Kombat 9 (PSVita) Her challenge was that because she was now a Cyborg then she couldn't use Blood Magic anymore so all her attacks where without Blood 😂

Tbh I'm 100% fine with Cyrax and Sektor being females, but it felt like we didn't needed them because they're Kameos. We could've definitely gotten Jade and Skarlet tho. My only problem with KP2 is Conan and T-1000. I never heard of Conan and we didn't need another Terminator in a MK game. My preferred picks are Pennywise and Doomguy because they fit the dark and violent tone of MK and they are very powerful.

Skarlet and Jade aren’t even in the story mode and I already hate when they put characters in there and don’t have them in the roster. Cyrax and Sektor haven’t been playable since MK9. Triborg doesn’t count.

Ok, heres my attempt. Cyrak and Sektor should have been 1 character or the only pack where you get 7 characters since they play and look similar and honestly I'd have waited since there are more important characters to do. Harsh but fair. Conan should not have taking a spot. T-1000 I'd have swapped out with Shredder. Ghostface is fine I think he should have been a Kameo but I get they want to stick to a Horror theme as well with 1 pack. If we had to stick to horror I'd have probably went the route of a Demogorgin because it's fresh and it's recent day horror and a Demogorgin is going have more moves to fight with anyways but Ghostface is fine I suppose. Now before I say this I don't want this charchter he just makes a lot of sense to tie off DLC pack 1. I'd have switched out Conan with Superman. Because ya'd be able to do Omniman vs Homelander vs Superman battles it makes a lot of sense. Who I'd prefer is Doom guy or Deathstroke. I'd leave Noob Saibot in since he's the only intresting charchter in this charchter pack but again Sektor & Cyrax I said count as 1 so I'd add Kintaro since so many fans want him

@@tv.casper yes true but they could have done 7 for this pack rather than merge the 2 charchters it's like they go hand in hand. They should always be together as they work as the perfect duo. But I don't think duos sould count as 2 spots as it's like this if we ever got a Marvel game Groot and Rocket shouldn't take 2 spots of DLC but instead they should be willing to give the fans 1 extra charchter as part of the charchter pack

I totally agree with your dlc pack but I Skarlet shouldn't be a hybrid cyborg. Khomei would be a great addition to MK 1. Guest characters shouldn't even happen as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with the takes on Ghostface, Noob, Skarlet and Jade, but I disagree with the last two. Aging up hit-girl could still cause issues, but using Mother Russia would still provide a suitable Kick-ass character. I have mixed feelings about the T-1000, but I am definitely leaning on the excited side of seeing him in game. I get that there was already a Terminator character last game, but the differences between the T-800 and T-1000 are vast enough that I can personally justify it. Additionally, it would make more sense to keep DLC characters as either returning characters, or guest characters. Even Skarlet appeared in the base game in the background before being added as a DLC character, so just adding a brand new character to the series like Khrome would not be the best idea imo. My pack list would be Ghostface Noob Saibot Skarlet Jade Mother Russia T-1000

The design for Noob in MK11 was perfect, you’re the only one I’ve seen that had an issue with it, when the trailer for noob dropped for mk11 everyone was hyped, the great design being one of the reasons. And for the mobile thing, it’s not the only time they used a different design to promote their game..

I think a more underrated female character that should be added is Jataaka. Her laser sword would be so awesome to have along side her hellish demon powers. Ashrah saves Sareena from Quan Chi which leads to a fight with Jataaka, that would be sick. And if they wanted to keep cybernetic frost from the last game, they could easily palette swap new Cyrax and Sektor with an ice ninja and I think that would be really cute.

Instead of getting guest characters from horror and action movies, how about some guest characters from other fighting games? Akuma has Ben in every other game, let’s get him in Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero vs Cinder, Scorpion vs Glacius. Hell, MK vs KI as a whole ass game would be great!

They can only use characters that would fit doing or getting fatalities on them, and the owners have to approve of it. Capcom won't approve of that crossover, and it wouldn't make them any money because MK is banned (or it sells poorly) in Japan for its gore. Horror and adult action movies tend to get that pass, though I agree I am tired of them. I want characters form other M-rated games with gore. Like Gears of War.

I actually think the problem is just the lack of a consistent theme of the characters, like in MKX all the characters were horror, in mk11 there was less of a theme but almost all of them were from popular 90's and 80's properties But this one just feels like a clusterfuck of random characters, I would've replaced the guests so that they all have a theme, for example characters from video games then you could have doomslayer, old kratos, and maybe Raiden from metal gear or something

When going on mk1 and looking at the description of the £49.99 version of khaos reigns if you scroll down and look beneath the kameo characters it says “separate Kombat Pack 2 character bundle not available” does this mean we will get Kombat pack 2 kameos or completely new characters ?

It means you cannot get the characters separately like in previous games. If you want Noob, you must pay for all of them and the story pack together
